Our experienced senior consultants can address the physical, functional, psychological and/or workplace barriers that may affect you recovering at work or returning to work.
Our aim is to help you engage in the best treatment to achieve resolution of adverse health effects that is preventing you from moving on with your lives as quickly as possible. We achieve this by;
• Actively engagement with medical practitioners to ensure coordinated and seamless approach to treatment and injury management is provided and maintained.
• Facilitating a Return to Sustainable Employment with employer.
• Maintaining open and honest communication with employer and insurer.
We are committed to communicating with you in a clear and transparent way while maintaining your privacy and confidentiality of your personal and medical information.
Iandmi will appoint a rehabilitation consultant who will work with you, your employer, doctor and insurer to assist you in achieving a positive recovery and return to sustainable employment. Your dedicated rehabilitation consultant will be a senior health professional such as an occupational therapist, physiotherapist, exercise physiologist, rehabilitation counselor or psychologist.
Most of you are able to recover and remain with your pre-injury employer. However, where this is not possible, iandmi can help you obtain work with a new employer. This may involve:
Validated data reveals most injured or ill workers take little or no time off work. For those that do, more than 80 per cent return to work and recover at work within the first 13 weeks.
We understand that having injury or illness injury can feel you leaving uncertain, afraid and unsure of what might happen, we also understand that you and your family may find that navigating the system is quite challenging and stressful.
That is why we closely work with you, your family, your treating doctor your employer and the insurer to ensure you obtain all the correct entitlements you need to assist you on your road to recovery.
Why not consider requesting iandmi become part of your support team, we can address risk factors that maybe impacting on your ability to recover and return to sustainable employment. Some factors that maybe impacting on you include; difficulty identifying suitable employment duties, or identifying if assistance with equipment and workplace modification will suit your needs, you may have a complex injury or you may be experiencing a communication breakdown, delaying your recovery.

Depending on you and your employers needs iandmi can be engaged to provide a range of single services or provide ongoing support until you have achieved a safe and sustainable recovery at work.
Services are usually delivered at the workplace in consultation with all parties. Services may involve:
If suitable duties cannot be identified, then our staff can assist you to find a host employer for a short period of time, allowing you to recover at work while doing duties suited to your current capacity that can be upgraded over time (no longer than 12 weeks) until you reach the required capacity to return to your employer.
